This grouping of Au Pair associations through France aims at:

• making the rules, regulations and administrative procedures develop for the benefit of the placements in France and abroad,

• giving an up-to-date list of UFAAP agencies that respect the quality chart and give a high standard quality service,

• defending the interests of the Au Pair associations at a national and international level,

• finding the happy medium between the Au Pairs’s and the family’s interests.

The UFAAP’s intentions are to set up a self regulation system together with a certain standard on the exchanges. A professional charter has been defined and is adhered to all members.
It facilitates communication between the agencies. This charter sets up the rules and regulations amongst the host families and the au pair selection procedures.
